Marco Club Connection Announces Top Ten Country Dance Club Hits of 2013
Blake Shelton's "Boys Round Here"Â and Chris Young's "Aw Naw" Top The List
“Boys ys Round Here†and “Aw Naw†topped the list of Country dance favorites in 2013, according to the Marco Club Connection’s 10th annual ranking of Country dance club songs.
The Nashville-based company surveys a panel of nearly 250 club owners, DJs and dance instructors from across the country to compile its rankings every December. Overall votes by the panel determine each song’s placement on the list.
"2013 was a really exciting year for dance-oriented Country Music. Â The radio was full of high-energy, up-tempo hits, and the clubs were, too. Â There was a great mix of established artists like Blake Shelton, and a second huge club record from Florida Georgia Line, while the dance-community definitely found it's own favorites in high energy tracks like Laura Bell Bundy's "Two Step", and "Booze Cruise" from Blackjack Billy. We continue to see growth year-to-year in the audience who gravitate towards this music and these venues."
The results of the 2013 Top Ten Country Dance Club Hits are:
1. Boys Round Here - Blake Shelton  Â
2. Aw Naw - Chris YoungÂ
3. Two Step - Laura Bell BundyÂ
4. Thats My Kind Of Night - Luke BryanÂ
5. Booze Cruise - Blackjack BillyÂ
6. Mama's Broken Heart - Miranda LambertÂ
