"LARRY WAYNE GATLIN RADIO" COMES TO 650 AM WSM THIS JANUARY
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 11, 2013) ¯ Nashville’s iconic 650 AM WSM radio station announced today that GRAMMY winner and Grand Ole Opry member LARRY GATLIN will host "Larry Wayne Gatlin Radio – Only in America" on the station beginning in January of 2014.

“Larry is a legend and one of the funniest, most intuitive guys I’ve ever had the privilege to know.” said 650 AM WSM General Manager, Tom English. “When he expressed his desire to commit to a weekly show on ‘The Legend’ I knew we had to find a way to make it happen.”
"Larry Wayne Gatlin Radio" will be a mix of music, entertainment, life insights and pro-Nashville conversations.
Gatlin added “WSM has been very good to me over the years so I hope I am good for WSM. The good folks there are giving me the chance to prove something I have wanted to prove for a long time... that you don’t have to be full of BULL to be in show business, but it REALLY helps!”
Along with his many hit songs as a solo artist, member of the Gatlin Brothers and as a songwriter Gatlin is also known to listeners as a frequent host of the popular Opry Country Classics series broadcast live on 650 AM WSM from the famed Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville.
