ountry singer/songwriter, Rich O’Toole, is celebratinng the release of his new single and video, “17 Wild Horses,†which premiered on TasteofCountry.com on Friday, April 23, 2021, and was added to Whiskey Riff's "New Music Friday" playlist. Written by O’Toole and produced by Mack Damon.
The cinematic video was filmed on the plains in Texas at CK Reid’s ranch, the provider of bucking broncos and bulls for Billy Bob’s Texas (the world’s largest honky-tonk) live rodeos. Kasey James and Ted Borel with Playlist Films directed and edited the video.

O’Toole, who has “forged a solid regional touring career with his high-energy shows,†(America’sBestRacing.net), commented that the song is “the first big radio single†he had written in some time. “I wrote “17 Wild Horses†loosely around the character of “Beth†in the popular TV show, “Yellowstone.â€Â Sometimes the right girl rides into town at the wrong time and breaks your heart.â€Â
Over the past year, O’Toole has kept busy writing and recording songs for his new album expected later this year. Earlier this month, O’Toole returned to the stage in Texas for his first full-band show since the Pandemic began.
