Paul Cardall and Rachael Yamagata Release New Video "Broken Machine"

Anthem recording artist Paul Cardall has released the latest video, a duet with Rachael Yamagata. "Broken Machine" is the lastest video from Cardall's much-acclaimed new album, The Broken Miracle. "Broken Machine" is co-written by Cardall, Yamagata and Trevor Price.
"'Broken Machine' is inspired by the people in our lives who mend our broken wings. It’s also nostalgic of past loves we’ve grieved and yet somehow, miraculously, their energy and spirit continue to mend our broken hearts," explains Cardall. Yamagata adds, "It was a pleasure writing this song with Paul. His story is one of triumph and resilience. He’s lived with half a heart and shared his works, healing many affected by congenital heart disease. I encourage you to find out more about this incredible person and his inspiring story."
Cardall continues, "Back in 2004 shortly after finishing up my Faithful record, one of the engineers, and a brilliant songwriter, Trevor Price shared with me Rachael’s album, Happenstance, released that same year. The moment I heard her voice I felt like the weight of the world could crush down on me as long as this woman sang to me that everything was going to work out. Yea, that’s extreme, but seriously, her voice is one of the best in the industry. The opportunity to collaborate with her is sort of a make-a-wish for this broken, but not beaten heart transplant recipient. She was so kind and helpful in creating something we both relate to, and want to share with the world.”
